Biographie
Franco-British pianist, Min-Jung Kym has firmly established herself as an artist of immense diversity, bringing fresh quality and musicianship to her performances. She performs internationally collaborating with leading orchestras and musicians. Min-Jung is also passionate about music education and collaborates regularly with associations around the world to bring music accessible in all forms to all generations.
Min-Jung is a Signum Classics recording artist and has released several discs including a highly acclaimed interpretation of the Beethoven Piano Concerto No. 4. and in 2022, an album in support of La Fondation de France "Solidarité Ukraine" fund.
Min-Jung is a Steinway Artist and in addition to her concert activities, she has demonstrated with the Spirio piano how music, innovation and technology share many common ground by giving presentations and conferences on this subject. Her approach has been applauded by many well established companies, including Microsoft, Allianz and Vivatech.
In 2021, Min-Jung published a book "Musique pour dépasser le cancer" * (Editions Hermann) in which she openly writes about her cancer diagnosis and how music therapy played a very important role in the healing process. In sharing her experiences, Min-Jung is regularly invited to write articles on the practices of music therapy and appears often as a motivational speaker for podcasts and on the social network.
